Orthodox Young Families
Young families face unique challenges and opportunities as they seek to draw closer to Christ in today’s world. Orthodox Young Families is a group that was formed with the pastoral vision of guiding parish families and their children to the field of the Lord. The Orthodox Church is our beloved home and we want more families to experience and enjoy the endless love of Jesus through communion and fellowship with others. By coming together, we can share our experiences, learn from each other, grow together in our faith, and provide a supportive network to help us navigate parenthood’s challenges.
Orthodox Young Families meets once a month for social events where the Church’s teachings and values are introduced and group discussions are held on varied topics that are relevant to our physical and spiritual lives (such as marriage, child-rearing, and spirituality). Our goal through these events is to continue to attract more families to join the church and feel a sense of community and belonging as we walk along the path of parenting and family life in the Orthodox Church.
